Hey readers! We’ve got a lot of awesome stuff coming up soon, so here’s a quick update as to what we’ve been doing lately.

All classes start next week!  As you know, Spotlight Theatre Company offers classes for all ages in acting, musical theatre, dance and improv.  There’s still time to register if you’re interested, but you better do it quickly because we’re almost full.

Interested in Spotlight merch? Of course you are!  Our brand new store, Spotlight Theatre Tees, is now open for business.  We have spotlight shirts and mugs available, as well as shirts from two of our previous shows: Alice in Wonderland and Back to the Eighties.  Get them now at spotlighttheatretees.spreadshirt.com and be the envy of all your friends.

This weekend Spotlight is participating in Culture Days!  We have three workshops including introduction to Musical Theatre, Improv, and Costume Creation, along with a workshop for Theatre games and activities for kids.  Come check us out this Saturday at 273 Water St, and go to culturedays.ca for more information about other activities happening in Summerside.

We’ve moved! The studio is still in the same building, but now we have a storefront at 273 Water Street.  The studio hours are 9-5, Monday to Friday, so come in and check us out!

As of today we are announcing a monthly e-newsletter!  Once a month, we will send out a newsletter that includes updates about Spotlight Theatre Company, as well as theatre related community news.  Answer the musical theatre question for a chance to win some cool prizes.  To sign up for the newsletter, email news@spotlighttheatrecompany.ca.

Registration for our Fall season of classes is in progress.  This year we’re offering classes for all ages in acting, musical theatre, dance and improv.  Check out our website or call 902-724-3050 for more information and class prices.  Space is limited so register now!

As well as two semesters of classes, Spotlight Theatre Company will be putting on a children’s musical this year.  The show is set to open in April and announcements will be made regarding auditions soon!
